When it comes to interpreting Genesis literally or not, what are some thoughts on regards to the genealogy passages? Especially in light of our scientific understanding of the world.
I mean both in terms of the age ranges (probably easiest to reconcile) and the mapping of year counts of Adam through to Abraham (and then I guess also through to Jesus).
